These terms cover use of the McIntosh Industries social media publishing tool (the "App"). The App is owned and operated by McIntosh Industries Ltd (company number 08205526), Shobdon Industrial Estate, Shobdon Airfield, Herefordshire, HR6 9NR, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].
1. Who can use the App
The App is an internal business tool. Only people authorised by McIntosh Industries Ltd may use it, and only for social media accounts owned or managed by our group of businesses. It is not offered to the public.
2. What the App does
The App prepares, approves, schedules and publishes posts to connected Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, LinkedIn pages, TikTok accounts and YouTube channels through each platform's official API. Nothing is published without approval by an authorised person.
3. Platform rules
Everyone using the App must follow the terms and policies of each platform, including the Meta Platform Terms and Community Standards, the LinkedIn User Agreement and API Terms, the TikTok Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and the YouTube Terms of Service. By using the YouTube features of the App you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
4. Content
Users are responsible for making sure they have the rights to all images, video, music and wording they publish, and that content is accurate and lawful. We may remove or decline to publish content at any time.
5. Availability
We aim to publish posts at their scheduled time but can't guarantee it. Platforms may delay, limit or reject posts, or change their APIs. The App is provided "as is".
6. Liability
As far as the law allows, McIntosh Industries Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss from using the App, or from a platform failing to publish. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Privacy
How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes and ending access
We may update these terms or withdraw access to the App at any time. Connected accounts can be disconnected at any time from each platform's settings.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
